• The Beginning and JAMA

  The Beginning
  Today, July 3, 2008 will be the start of this documentation of my walk.  I have always wanted to write this down somewhere and what better place than a Christian community.  Hopefully I can look back at what is written here and be reminded of the struggles, the triumphs, and everything in between. 
  
  JAMA
  When I attend these conferences I always try to go in with a general idea what I want to take away from it.  This time it was a bit different since I was a teacher for the youth group.  I prayed that the YG would get an experience that would really burn their hearts for Him.
  
  The praise was great.  YG only had good things to say about praise and I really believe it touched some of their hearts.  Now only if they can have the same passion on Sundays. 
  
  The speakers were on all levels.  The ones who were great speakers really related to the youth well and got their messages across.  All the great teachers had great messages but it looks like most of it went way over the YG's heads. 
  
  I went into JAMA with some burning questions too and I can say honestly that they were all answered.  He sure does work in mysterious ways.  I just pray that I can always remember what I learned and be a better man for Christ.  It seems I always need a good kick in the butt.
